Before the Walkman and iPod there was HiFi. Compact Discs and MP3s with their clinically clean and cold digital sound have for years plagued our ears in the name of progress and technology.
But nothing really compares to the warm analog sound of a vinyl with an integrated amplifier. Turntables are making a comeback and audiophiles are lapping them up all over again. Today the price of an album on vinyl is anywhere from RM70-150, which is an irony. I used to buy mine for less than RM20 (USD 5) back in the 1980’s.

Technology may have put entire racks of CDs, Vinyls and Cassettes onto a device the size of your palm but its experiencing real sound on a decent hifi system that truly makes listening to music a joy again.
